Webmaster Management & Update Services

One of the major problems for most churches is not having someone with the skills and knowledge of website programming, or simply the time, to keep a website fresh and up-to-date. To go through the effort and expense of developing a website and not have sufficient means to keep it up-to-date instantly devalues all that you have achieved.

It is for this reason that we offer a Webmaster Management service to all our churches and organisations, enabling us to update your site as and when new content is sent to us.

This service is offered for a nominal fee of £15 per month, enabling your church to have unlimited updates whether that be daily, weekly or monthly. We also include additional web pages within this service so if you would like extra pages at Easter or Advent, for example, then you will not have to find additional funds for the extension to your website.

New pages and features are included in this update fee. At certain times of the year it may be necessary for your church to add new content, creating pages that were not part of the site's initial development. With our Webmaster Management and Update Service this need not concern you. We are happy to add not only new material to existing pages but also to add new pages and features to the site. It is our hope that this service will help our clients feel at ease about the ongoing maintenance of the site.

Many of the updates sent through by churches are actioned within hours of receiving an email – all are updated within days, dependent on the size of the update required. The following items are updated weekly by most churches:

• Services & events diary
• Magazine / internal publications / pew sheets
• Sermons (both audio and text based)
• News
• Updated photographs of events / services
• Special services (extra information for various times of the year, such as Easter and Advent)
• Thought for the Week / Pause for Thought
• Information on groups / service users
